Artscapes Gallery is pleased to show artists with a solid body of recent and original work.

Beverley Barber

Beverley has travelled and painted in Mexico, Africa, Italy and California as well as Ontario, Québec and British Columbia. Her work has been represented in galleries in Quebec, Nanaimo, B.C., St. Catharines and California. Beverley paints in water colour, oil and acrylic and sculpts in clay and wax. Beverley teaches at Niagara College, The Pumphouse and The Niagara Gallery – all in the Niagara Region.

Jerry Manco

In his St. Catharines studio, Jerry pushes texture and light with digital imaging techniques, to create stunning photographic prints from his recent trip to the South of France or from his Niagara Series.

Alexander Rasmussen

Alexander Rasmussen is a fine artist who grew up in the Niagara Peninsula  and naturally gravitated to contemporary abstract expressionism. His recent body of work can readily be described as nostalgia inspired. Many of these paintings capture the mood of the world after sunset. He paints on wood panel because this durable material allows him to use a multitude of tools and methods to express this profound sentiment.

Alexander is a Ridley College graduate of 07’. After attending Emily Carr University in 2008, he resumed his studies at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia studying Sociology and Fine Art. When Alexander is not at school he is busy painting full time at his home in Niagara.

Plak Mounting and Canvas Mounting Available.

Plaking or laminating is a unique and attractive process of mounting, protecting and displaying YOUR photographs, certificates, prints, etc. YOUR print or document is first mounted to specially selected wood which has been custom cut and finished to YOUR specifications. The surface of YOUR plak is then completely sealed under heat and pressure with a tough, durable, transparent laminate.
